Hey it's Jaz here!

For the next 6 months, I'll personally work with you one-on-one, sharing everything I've learned over my 15+ years as a pro, Berklee graduate, and mentor to 200+ students to help you...

  • Breakthrough the intermediate plateau and become fluent in the language of music.

  • Effortlessly create bass lines on the spot in a variety of musical styles.

  • Have the freedom to express themselves on the bass.

  • Stop feeling restricted by technique, theory or fretboard knowledge.

  • Play your favourite bass lines, solos or walking bass lines with ease.

  • Apply theory to the fretboard and see the notes light up across the neck.

  • Hold their own when playing with accomplished musicians.

  • Become a more confident bass player drummers will love to playing with.

  • Quickly pick up new songs by ear.

If you donā€™t know much about me, check out my YouTube channel here.

If you already know who I am, keep readingā€¦

Congrats, you made it!

You can play simple songs, major scales, shapes and you have the basic technique.

But now you feel stuck.

Stuck playing the same ideas, same shapes, same bass lines, same exercises without being able to connect the dots.

You've hit the wall in your playing.

You have no plan, you feel lost and youā€™re not sure how to improve.

Youā€™ve hit the dreaded late beginner hurdle or intermediate plateau!

By now, you know chasing around random lessons on YouTube is not a great use of your timeā€¦

Since they are basically the musical equivalent of junk food.

They are a tiny snack that can sometimes provide the illusion of progress.

But they donā€™t build on each other or offer any meaningful, long-term improvements.

Only 3-15% of people finish an online course.

How many courses or books have you brought and never finished?

How many bass books have you brought that are collecting dust on your shelf?

And, when you donā€™t understand something from a book or a video lessonā€¦

You have nobody to turn to and ask questions.

Without someone to answer your questions or provide personalised feedback, itā€™s easy to skip over vital foundational techniques and develop bad habits.

Itā€™s not your fault and youā€™re definitely not alone!

It's time to throw the boring bass method books and start playing real music!

Many of my students say they wish theyā€™d started studying with me sooner.

In our first lesson, they often realize theyā€™ve wasted time and picked up bad habits from random advice on Reddit or Talkbass.

We then spent months correcting these mistakes!

Are traditional private lessons holding you back?

Even with todayā€™s advanced technology, many still view traditional one-on-one private lessons as the best way to learn an instrument.

But how often have you arrived at a bass lesson only to hear, "So, what do you want to work on today?"

This happens because many bass instructors, while skilled musicians, often lack experience in building a comprehensive curriculum.

Over time, their lessons may end up being no more structured than picking random videos on YouTube.

The feedback loop is also slow, leading to slower progress, as you have to wait until your next lesson to get the support and feedback you need.

What makes this program different?

After being a music educator for over 10 years and mentor to hundreds of students I've discovered that traditional education has failed us.

To fix this I adopt an intuitive, music-first approach to learning bass.

I call it the Bass Mastermind.

A comprehensive training and mentorship program that unlocks true creative potential and giving bass players pro level skillsets.

How it works

Step 1: Personalised Plan

First, weā€™ll discuss your goals on an introductory Zoom call.

Iā€™ll assess your strengths and weakness and help you identify the one, two, or three main roadblocks holding you back.

Then, Iā€™ll design the most efficient path to help you achieve your goals.

You'll have 100% clarity on exactly what to practice, in what order.

Step 2: Training Platform

Youā€™ll get access a bespoke step-by-step curriculum tailored to your specific goals and an exclusive community of dedicated and like-minded bass players all on the same journey as you!

Step 3: VIP Support

Each month, youā€™ll have a one-on-one Zoom call with me to address the specific areas you need help with, so you can see faster progress in your bass playing.

Between lessons, you can text me anytime youā€™re stuckā€”help is just a message away.

Additionally, youā€™ll have access to weekly small group workshops for ongoing accountability, support, and feedback on your bass playing.

Student results

If youā€™re selected to be one of my students, hereā€™s what you can expect* over the next 6 months:

*Based on average data collected anonymously from 2020-2024.

  • 147% improvement in technique.

  • 311% increase in improvising bass lines on the spot.

  • 177% better ability to learn new songs by ear.

  • 234% enhanced fretboard visualization.

  • 95% growth in music theory knowledge.

And keep in mind, these are just the averages ā€” imagine what the top scores look like!

I don't work with everyone.

To protect my reputation as a teacher Iā€™m very selective about who I work with one-on-one.

Weā€™ll be working closely together, and Iā€™ll invest significant time and energy into your bass playing.

Therefore, I need you to commit at least 3-5 hours per week to this program.

As a professional musician with a busy schedule and because I provide extensive support to each student, spots are limited.

This is why I have an application process.

The student-teacher relationship requires a 50/50 commitment.

Iā€™ll offer the plan, support, and feedback, but itā€™s up to you to put in the work.

Without consistent practice, you wonā€™t see results.
